Our journey began in March 2024, when our founder began professionally pet sitting, driven by a lifelong love for animals and a commitment to excellence in care. Butler Pet Care's goal is to offer trusted, personalized services tailored to the needs of both pets and their people.
We specialize in in-home visits, overnight stays, and dog walking, as well as medication administration and attentive care for aging or special needs pets. I have harbored a deep passion for animals throughout my life, having been raised in a household with dogs. I am certified by the American Red Cross Organization for Dog and Cat CPR & First Aid. At the age of 19, I adopted my first dog, which marked the beginning of my personal journey in animal care. My experience extends to both feline and canine care, as well as other small animals, including my professional tenure at PetSmart PetsHotel, where I was responsible for the daycare and boarding of dogs and cats. I am the proud owner of a nine-year-old Chihuahua-Miniature Pinscher mix, whom I cherish dearly. I began my professional pet sitting career in March 2024, and a year later, in March 2025, I established my own pet sitting business. Through this journey, I discovered a true passion and purpose for pet sitting, allowing me to combine my love for animals with a rewarding profession.
Hi! I’m Meghan, an animal lover with experience caring for dogs, cats, and exotic pets. I’m currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and enjoy pet-sitting during my free time. Since starting my professional pet-sitting journey in July 2023, I’ve been dedicated to providing loving care for all pets.
With dogs and cats at home, I understand the unique needs of each animal. I am certified in Dog and Cat First Aid & CPR, ensuring your pets are safe and well cared for. Committed to providing a nurturing environment, I strive to make every pet feel comfortable and loved.

I’m currently a biomedical engineering student at Mercer University and am delighted to offer pet sitting services during my spare time. In the 8th grade I started pet sitting and called it "Laila's pet sitting" (so creative l know). Since 2020, I have been providing pet sitting care for friends, family and neighbors. As a pet owner myself, having raised my ten year old dog Lola, two guinea pigs and 3 hamsters, I have first hand experience caring for a variety of animals. Previously I have cared for a wide variety of animals, ranging from large and small dog breeds, cats, and small animals. I am also dog and cat CPR and First Aid trained so no matter the size or species, I prioritize making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved.
