Ollie and Jasper have mastered the art of balancing playtime with relaxation. They love to play and explore, and they are great at finding ways to entertain themselves. Having two playful tabby cats together means there is rarely a shortage of something interesting to do.
Even though these boys are independent and perfectly capable of entertaining themselves, they still love having someone around. They enjoy attention on their own terms and are always happy to receive some extra love and pets.
Their combination of independence and affection is one of the things that makes caring for them so much fun.
Recliner Time and Plenty of Pets
One of my favorite parts of spending time with Ollie and Jasper is relaxing together on the recliner. When these two are ready for some downtime, they love to settle in with me and enjoy plenty of pets.
They are definitely loungers at heart! After playing and exploring, Ollie and Jasper are perfectly content to find a comfortable spot and relax. These quiet moments are an important part of pet sitting, too. Cat care isn't always about keeping pets constantly entertained. Sometimes companionship simply means being there, providing affection, and letting them enjoy their normal routine in the comfort of their own home.
Wet Food Is Always Worth Getting Excited About
Ollie and Jasper certainly know when it is time to eat, especially when wet food is involved!
Their wet food is one of the highlights of their routine, and these boys are always happy when mealtime arrives. Keeping cats on their regular feeding schedule while their family is away helps maintain consistency and allows them to enjoy the familiar routines they are used to.
Between their favorite meals, playtime, lounging, and affection, Ollie and Jasper have their pet-sitting routine figured out perfectly.
Independent Cats Who Still Love Attention
One of the things I love most about Ollie and Jasper is their ability to be both independent and affectionate. They don't need someone constantly entertaining them because they are great at finding their own fun and enjoying some quiet time.
But being independent doesn't mean they don't want attention!
When Ollie and Jasper are ready for some love, they are happy to settle in for pets and companionship. Getting to sit with them on the recliner and spend some quiet time together is always one of the sweetest parts of caring for them.
